I didn’t realized that WordPress has been upgraded again. That’s why some of my plug-ins did not work and generated warning error messages.
Now, my website is back and fully operates.
Is anyone using Twitter? Twitter is a free social messaging utility for staying connected in real-time. You will know what I’m doing through the day.. I know.. I know.. who wants to know that, right? I’m not even a celebrity! LOL
Well.. It’s just for fun. It helps us connect to each other. It’s fairly simple to use. Most of social websites such as Hi5 and Facebook, are using this feature anyway.
You can access my Twitter website and other accounts from clicking links under Blogroll
I’m tesing all the plugins used in the WordPress. I added a few new cool plugins to it. This is a test!
OH MY GOD… it’s been like what.. a month or two? I’ve been trying to protect and prevent the attacks from hackers and spam. In the past couple days, my web site was not even functioning. I did try so many many things. I deleted the whole website, delete all the things I have uploaded to the server, and I even re-installed the WordPress system and database. Nope… no luck on that. I went to check the error log, but couldn’t understand what it was. I noticed that there were some scripts running on the server under my account. However, I couldn’t locate those scripts and understand what’s going on.
Until now… I looked it up to the error log again as Shawn suggested. But, this time I really did pay close attention to the details. Finally, I saw a folder inside Cgi-bin folder, called “Stealth.” There was a script called “test.cgi” running inside the sub folder called “dark.” I’m like.. this is no cool at all. “Stealth”?? Heck no! So, I decided to delete the whole dang folder and sub-folder inside the cgi-bin because I know that I don’t have any scripts running for cgi. So, here it is. It resolves everything.
My lesson learned is that if you have been experiencing errors from “.htaccess” file or re-directing your website to some anti-spam.info, 7speed.info, etc., I would check your index.php files and error logs to see if there is any some weird script running on the server. Check your “Cgi” folder and make sure there is nothing weird in there.
If you have any question or problem, let me know.

Ho Ho Ho… I did it!! I’m able to pull all the posts saved in the database back to normal stage. I had a problem with “permalink” issue. What’s permalink? Permalink, or permanent link, is a URL used to point to each individaul blog entry after I posted on the website. Normally, the URL is in somewhat ugly form with a bunch of numbers or text. With this permanlink technology, it allows the URL to become readable or easy to track each blog entry down.
So, my problem was I lost all those permalinks. You can visit my website on the front page, but not my archives. Thanks god I found the solution! I almost decided to start everything from the ground. Wheww..the solution is to go to the setting page (in WordPress Admin) and go to Permalink option page. Then, click save to relink everything back. It works!!
Anyhow.. do you miss me? miss my blog? If you do, then start to comment!! I dont’ bite!! LOL
