In order for me to stay current in the instructional technology field, I have utilized social media tools, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and the Flipboard mobile app to keep up with current trending discussion topics among other professionals.

In addition to instructional designer and educator, I consider myself a researcher. Each year, I attend or conduct presentations at the following national conference and professional organization:

  • American Association of Community Colleges Convention
  • Online Learning Consortium (OLC)
  • American Educational Research Association (AERA)
  • Innovations Conference
  • Association for Educational Communications & Technology (AECT)
  • Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE)
