Year: 2009-2010

Synopsis: The simulation tool was a collaborative project between the Readiness Support Center, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Central Florida. This GIS-based application incorporates modeling functions and principles to spatially analyze predictive information. The tool generated unlimited outcomes based upon selected scenario parameters and provides a basis for planning.

Target Audience: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and other Federal agencies

Responsibilities:

  • Served as Project Coordinator to work with the Ph.D. students at the UCF in the development process
  • Conducted weekly meetings and wrote update reports
  • Assisted in conducting research studies
  • Oversaw the product quality and managed the project timeline
