Computer Assisted Instruction

Synopsis: “Converting Fahrenheit to Celsius” is a self-paced computer assisted instruction that developed with Macromedia Authorware. It incorporated ¬†several E-Learning and multimedia principles, such as problem-based scenario, modality, personalization, and pedagogical advisor. The metacognitive strategy, self-questioning technique, was also implemented to enhance learners’ retention.The instruction provided a concept and a step-by-step demonstration along with examples and practices. It took about 45-60 minutes to complete the program.
