I went to see New Moon movie last night because I couldn’t find a ticket on Friday. The tickets were sold out on Friday! It was still a full house on Sunday. The vampire romance “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” sucked up $140.7 million in its first three days and pulled in a total of $258.8 million worldwide, according to studio estimates Sunday. New Moon placed third on the all-time domestic chart behind last year’s $158.4 million opening weekend for the Batman blockbuster “The Dark Knight” and 2007’s $151.1 million haul for “Spider-Man 3.”
Here are my thoughts about the movie. First of all, I did not read any Stephenie Meyer’s novels. I read some bad reviews of the movie prior to see the movie. Personally, I didn’t it was that bad. I think it was very romance. Some scences were over done (too romantic haha.. almost throwing up because of what Edward said to Bella haha). The leading actors and the actress did pretty well. I thought Jacob was stealling a lot of scences in the movie!! With amazing Jacob’s 6 packs and shirtless for the entire movie, he easily can gain more fan club from the New Moon sequel.

Jacob was unreal!! hahaha! If you already watched Twilight last year, you really cannot miss New Moon. I gave 3 stars out of 5.

You can use MS Office 2010 with free-of-charge for nearly a year. The preview won’t expire until Oct. 31, 2010. The public download is available from the Microsoft site, on this page.

Office 2010 is the first Microsoft suite to be offered in both 32- and 64-bit versions.
The Office 2010 Beta site had listed three different versions that would be made available to users: Professional Plus, and the to-be-sold-at-retail Office Home and Business, and Office Professional. Microsoft has set the minimum requirements for the beta as a 500MHz or faster processor; 256MB or more of memory; 3GB of free hard drive space; and Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3), Windows Vista SP1, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008 SP2, or Windows 7.
This is very exciting!! I might give it a try for this new version.

The new specie of OS has been emerged. It’s Google Chrome and it’s FREE!

Yesterday Google hosted a press event at its Mountain View campus to reveal a first glimpse at the Chrome OS. What do you think? Are you going to give it a try? To be honest, I’m scared. As you know, when installing the new OS, you will have to deal with all drivers and application software that you have to make sure that they are compatible with the OS.
I’m for one who is not ready to jump into the Chrome OS yet:)
You can read more about it from Endgadget website

What a day! I missed the connecting flight from Memphis to Orlando. I had to sit on the the airplane at Mobile airport for about an hour because they couldn’t figure out whey the number of boarding pass in the system weren’t match with the number of passengers on the airplane. I knew exactly what happened (at least from my acknowledgement)! Right before boarding, I noticed that three guys standing a the counter in fron of then gate and asked for seats. Some how, the lady who took the boarding pass messed things up. Flight attendant also pointed that out (I over heard her because those guys sat right behind me).
But… captains didn’t want to take off until they talked to the lady at the gate. He wanted to make sure everything resolved correctly before taking off – I didn’t blame him for that. Anyhow, he could feel the frustration from passengers, so he said sorry and told that all the beverage including alcohols are FREE!! That’s very funny.. he said those booze would help us feel relax.. hahaha
And, now I’m in Memphis airport. I had to reroute all my connections. Delta representative asked me to choose between having connection at Atlanta or Dallas airport. I was hungry at that time, so all I thought of that moment was FOOD. I knew for sure there were ton of food at Atlanta. So, I chose to fly there.
Then, I had a second thought while walking to the gate. I forgot that Atlanta airport is one of the busiest airport in the world. Of course there is higher chance that my flight might get delay (again). I have only 45 minute to catch another flight to Orlando.
I just hope… hope and hope that everything will go smoothly from now on. I’m so exhausted already!
———-
OMG! at the minute I finished typing the sentence above the line, Delta representative just announced that the flight will be delayed. If anyone had a connection in Atlanta, one needed to rebook flights. Me again!!
So, I’ve just re-booked my flights for the second time. I’m still going to Atlanta and Atlanta to Olando. The delay on that previously booked flight was caused from mechanical problem.. brr..r.. I will not be comfortable to be on the plane that has mechanical problem anyway. As long as I can get to Orlando tonight, I’m OK with re-booking flights! Whewww…!

Whoo hoo.. I thought Comcast On Demand was an awesome feature to have, yet the On Demand Online is even HOTTER!!
What is Comcast? Comcast is one of the major company in the US that provides TV cable and cable Internet services. It’s like UBC in Thailand. “Video On Demand” is a free feature that allows subscribers to watch movies and shows on any package you pay. There are ton of HBO movies you can watch. You can watch anytime you want. It’s updated every Monday. The cable box acts like it were a video player. You can pause, stop, play, etc. How nice is that?

It will be available at no additional cost to existing subscribers and allow the authorization of up to 3 devices per household. Log in once from home to Comcast.net or Fancast.com, download the Move Networks powered player to authorize your PC and proceed to stream from the very healthy library of VOD, whether at home or anywhere else. This is so Comcastic!

As you can see, with dowdgetnward economy, only RIM (BlackBerry) and Apple seem to be doing well in the worldwide market share. Nokia is still sharing the largest while Samsung shares the least on the market.
In my opinion, BB never did well until the Bold and Curve came out. They hit a home for that!!

According to WIKI, Hurricane Ida is the ninth tropical storm and third hurricane of the 2009 Atlantic hurricane season. Ida rapidly strengthened from when it formed to its landfall. Hurricane Ida developed shortly after noon (EDT) on November 4 as a tropical depression.
Now, Ida is heading to Gulf coast!! Mobile is one of the cities in Ida’s storm predicted path. I don’t think it’s as serious as it could have been due to the water in the Gulf Mexico is getting cooler.

As Hurricane Ida approaches the region late Monday night and into Tuesday, winds will begin to increase.
We will also have the potential for low end tropical storm force winds in portions of southeastern Alabama and southwestern Georgia.
The National Hurricane Center’s forecast on late Sunday afternoon called for Ida’s track to take a north bend south of Mobile Bay early Tuesday for a possible landfall near Pensacola late morning to around midday on Tuesday.
