Look closer… it’s LEGO! I have the Nintendo DSi exact color as the one in the picture above.

 

Now, the LEGO is displaying at the Nintendo World Store at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

 

This sculpture of the Nintendo DSi was created to coincide with the release of the real Nintendo DSi on April 5, 2009. The sculpture is nearly 7 feet wide and contains 51,324 LEGO pieces. It took over 200 hours to create and weighs over 250 pounds.

 

You can get your picture taken with the DSi in New York!

Yahoo has feature this article from New York Time. Randy Polumbo renovated his Mojave Desert house with rocks and steel and filled it with stuff the people don’t want or use anymore  (or you can call “trash” haha).

 

It’s not as bad as you think, is it? Let’s take a look inside

 

 

The owner and house builder of this trash house, Mr. Polumbo, works as a high-end contractor in Manhattan. Mr. Polumbo has a good point of view when he mentioned that the phrase “green construction” generally refers to the latest technologies and costs a fortune. I totally agree on that. I mean “green construction” sounds like it will cost you much, but no. The recycle materials are so expensive, especially for those saving-energy technology. It easily costs you a fortune!

 

He also has interests in casting glass from bottles and telegraph insulators he found in the desert into different shapes. He’s so creative! You can read more about his interview and watch a video clip by clicking here

Yeah… my new BlackBerry Curve 8900 can read and type in Thai now.

At first, I got the error message “App Erro 220″, and all I could do was to reset the phone. So, I had to reconnect the phone to the computer and used BB desktop manager to install everything new. Wheeeeww.. I thought I had to send the phone back!

Oh.. GOOD NEWS! Now, T-Mobile reduces the price for new customers. BlackBerry Curve 8900 is now only $150 with (of course) 2-year contract.

I’ve just realized now that there are two different small USB ports, called “Mini USB” and “Micro USB.” Which one is smaller? I let you decide.

The Micro USB, however, is the newer technology which has been used in mobile or cell phone technology. Mini and Micro both look very alike. If you look closer, you will notice that the Micro USB is a bit different; it looks similar to a wire fire port, but of course a lot smaller. It’s good to know, isn’t it? So, you don’t mix up when you are trying to charge your cell phone or digital camera.

เนื้อคู่ประตูถัดไป ตอนที่แล้วแบบว่าเซอร์ไพรส์สุดๆ ไม่คิดว่าจะมีการแบ่งเป็น Season เหมือนซีรีย์ที่อเมริกา ตกใจหมดนึกว่าจะเลิกทำแล้วซะอีก อาทิตย์หน้าก็มีตอนพิเศษ แต่หลังจากนั้นก็ไม่แน่ใจว่า Season สองจะกลับมาฉายต่อหรือป่าว

แต่ตอนจบของ Season 1 เป็นอะไรที่ ตกใจมาก ไม่คิดว่า “พี่ก้อง” ตัวก่อเหตุของเรื่องจะมาปรากฏตัว ทำเอาตัวละครทุกตัวสลบไปตามๆกันเลยทีเดียว

 

นักแสดง ผู้จัดทำ แล้วแฟนคลับของซีรีย์เรื่องนี้ได้มีการจัดทำ meeting กันด้วย น่ารักมากๆเลย อยากไปด้วยจัง

วันนี้หน้ามืดสั่ง BlackBerry Curve 8900 สองเครื่องพร้อมกันเลย ให้ตัวเองเครื่องนึง กิฟท์เครื่องนึง แหะๆ ที่ต้องการเปลี่ยนมือถือเพราะตอนนี้ความต้องการใช้โทรศัพท์เปลี่ยนไปแล้ว กอล์ฟอยากได้เครื่องที่ออนไลน์ได้ตลอดเวลา และเผอิญรู้มาว่า T-Mobile มันลดราคาอยู่ ก็เลยลองเข้าไปดูบนเว็บ ปรากฏว่า ราคาเต็ม 500 เหรียญ (ถ้าเป็นที่ BestBuy ขายอยู่ที่ 600 เหรียญ) นะครับ แต่ช่วงนี้มีโปรโมชั่น สำหรับลูกค้าใหม่ ลดทันที 200 เหรียญ แล้วก็ Mail-in Rebate ให้เงินคืนอีก 100 เหรียญ ถ้าเปิดเบอร์และลงทะเบียนกับ T-Mobile และต้องเซ็นสัญญา อย่างน้อย 2 ปีขึ้นไป สรุปถ้าเป็นลูกค้าใหม่ต้องการเปิดเบอร์ใหม่ จะซื้อ Curve 8900 ในราคาเพียง 200 เหรียญเท่านั้น หรือ ประมาณ 7 พันบาท โอ้วมายก๊อดดด..

แล้วกอล์ฟจะทำไงดีล่ะ เราอยากได้ แต่เราไม่ใช่ลูกค้าใหม่ มีทางเดียว ต้องถาม ต้องตื้อ ก็เลยจัดแจงกด 611 บริการ T-Mobile 24ชม. คนที่รับสายเขาก็ดึงข้อมูลของกอล์ฟขึ้นมา กอล์ฟก็ถามว่าช่วงนี้มีโปรโมชั่นอะไรบ้าง เขาพูดมา อย่างสองอย่าง แต่กอล์ฟไม่อยากได้เลยซักอย่างที่เขาเสนอมานี่ ก็เลยทำเป็นเข้าเรื่องเลยว่า อยากอัพเกรด มาใช้ BlackBerry สนใจ Curve 8900 เขาก็เช็คราคาให้ ก็ให้ข้อมูลตรงกับบนเว็บ กอล์ฟก็ถามว่าแล้วเรา Qualify ไหมเอ่ย เขาก็บอกได้ ถ้าสนใจเรามีสิทธิ์ตรงนั้น แต่ต้องเพิ่มสัญญา อีก 2 ปี อันนี้ต้องเล่าย้อนนิดนึง เผอิญ กอล์ฟหมดสัญญาไปเมื่อเดือนที่แล้ว และก็ไม่ค่อยชอบ สัญญา 2 ปีเท่าไหร่ ดูมันเหมือนผูกมัดเรานานเกินไป ก็เลยถามเขาต่อว่า แล้วรายเดือนล่ะต้องจ่ายเพิ่มยังไง พนักงานคนนั้นเขาก็ดี คำนวณให้เสร็จสรรพ บอกว่าคุณใช้โทรศัพท์ไม่เยอะ ทำไมไม่ downgrade ลง จาก 1000 นาทีต่อเดือน เป็นซัก 700 นาที และถ้าคุณเพิ่มบริการ BlackBerry เข้าไป คุณยังประหยัดเงิน 5 เหรียญต่อเดือนด้วย คุณสามารถ ออนไลน์ได้ตลอดเวลาด้วย บริการนี้ รวม Text Messeging แล้วด้วยนะ

เราก็… นะ หูผึ่ง อยากได้เลย แต่ติดที่ว่า ต้องทำสัญญา 2 ปี ก็เลยบอกว่า สนใจมากกกก แต่ว่า 2 ปีมานานเกินไปนะ เผื่อต้องออกนอกประเทศ ไม่กลับมาที่นี่แล้วจะทำยังไง เขาก็บอกว่า โอนสัญญาให้คนอื่นดูแลต่อได้ เราก็บอกว่าไม่เอาหรอก ลำบากคนอื่น แล้วก็ไม่มีใครด้วย ทำไงดี อยากได้มากๆ แต่ไม่อยากได้ 2 ปี พนักงานก็ ยื่นเสนอใหม่ งั้นก็เซ็น 1 ปีล่ะ แต่คุณต้องจ่ายเพิ่มอีก 50 เหรียญ โอ้ววว เข้าทางเราเลย นี่ล่ะที่เราต้องการ ก็เลยตกลงทำเรื่อง อัพเกรด ดาวน์เกรด พร้อมสั่ง Curve หนึ่งเครื่องซะเลย คราวนี้ พนักงานก็ถามว่า คุณจะจ่ายยังไง เราก็งง หมายความว่าไง “จ่ายยังไง” พนักงานก็อธิบายให้ฟังว่า คือทาง T-Mobile เราเข้าใจลูกค้าดีว่า การซื้อโทรศัพท์หนึ่งเครื่องคุณต้องจ่ายเงินก้อน ครั้งละ 300-500 เหรียญ ทางเราก็เลยมีข้อเสนอ ให้คุณแบ่งจ่ายออกเป็น 4 งวด โดยไม่มีการคิดดอกเบี้ยใดๆทั้งสิ้น โอ้ววว เราก็หูผึ่งรอบที่สองสิ เอางั้นเลยครับพี่!! ผ่อนไม่มีดอกเบี้ย เราก็ชอบสิ ฮ่าๆๆ

 

พอกลับมาบ้าน เล่าให้กิฟท์ฟัง พอได้ยินผ่อนจ่ายเท่านั้นล่ะ อยากได้ด้วยเลย ก็เลยโทรไปสั่งเพิ่มอีกเครื่อง กลายเป็น ครอบครัว BlackBerry ไปซะแล้ว!!

กอล์ฟก็พอรู้มาบ้างว่า BlackBerry เข้าเว็บไทย แล้วอ่านไทยไม่ได้ ก็เลย ลองถามอากู๋ google ของเรา ปรากฏว่า ที่เมืองไทย พึ่งเปิดตัวไป เมื่อเดือนที่แล้วเองสำหรับรุ่น Curve 8900 บริษัท AIS เป็นคนนำเข้า สามารถพิมพ์ไทย และอ่านไทยได้ ขายอยู่ที่ 25,500 บาท โอ้วมายก๊อดดด แพงกว่า iPhone อีกนะนั่น ราคาแรงจริงๆ เราซื้อ ที่อเมริกา แค่ 9 พันเอง โหะๆ แต่ก็แอบดีใจ เพราะอันนี้ก็บ่งบอกว่า BlackBerry ตอนนี้ Support ภาษาไทยแล้ว เราสามารถลงโปรแกรมให้อ่านไทยได้แล้ว เย้ๆๆๆ ถึงแม้จะพิมพ์ไทยไม่ได้ กอล์ฟก็ว่าไม่ใช่ปัญหาใหญ่ ขอให้อ่านไทยได้ ก็ Happy ละ

It’s time to update pictures of plants from my backyard. I thought I would lost the maple tree, but NO… leafs are coming out. The maple tree  has never looked better like this before!
