On March 18, an undersea volcano erupted off the coast of Tonga shooting clouds of smoke, steam and ash thousands of feet into the sky above the South Pacific ocean. This is very scary! But, thanks God, the geologists said there was no apparent danger to residents of Nuku’alofa and others living on the main island of Tongatapu.

According to the US Geological Survey, a magnitude 7.9 earhtquake has struck in the Pacific Ocean. It struck at 6:17 a.m. (local time). Tsunami warning was issued for Tonga, Fiji, anod other close areas. So far, there were no immediate reports of damange, injuries or death. (Source: WikiNews).
