For real this time, you can purchase an iPhone 3G without contracts for $599 (8GB) and $699 (16GB) at Apple stores. Apparently, Apple is trying to clear out old inventory. I got this news from CrunchGear blog

 

Yeah.. lately I’m kind of like this song, Poker Face by Lady Gaga. A few months ago, her song, Just Dance, was also my favorite song. It was fun to listen to. I love the MV!! Take a look!

 

I have a tech reporter who always updates me with technology news and other cool stuffs all the time. That reporter is Matthew… hahaha. He tends to buy every single new gadgets that come out!! I have read news about new Nintendo DSi would be released soon, but I didn’t pay attention like when it will be available in the US. Matthew made me want to get one. The DSi will be available in the US on April 4. You can pre-order from GameStop (online or at the store). I did made a pre-order just now online because GameStop offers free 3-day shipping when you use the code “3DAYDSI.” That’s so cool!!

Some readers might get confuse what I’m talking about here? What’s Nintendo DSi?

 

Nintendo DSi is a portable game.. just like Game Boy and other pocket games, but it has two touch-screens. Nintendo DS first released in 2004. DS stands for Die-Su (I’m not sure what it means… it could refer to a dual-screen?). And the latest version of Nintendo DS is Nintendo DSi. It comes with a lot of new features, such as new audio system, wider screen, thinner console, build-in webcam, and SD card slot, etc. I’m so excited that I have to get one!! The retail price is 169.99 dollars. I guess it’s reasonable.

Only two colors – black and ice blue are available in the US. I pre-ordered the ice blue color.. yeahhh!

I’ve just learned that today is Mariah Carey’s birthday. Yeahh.. HBD to MiMi!! Yesterday I listened to her new single which she sang with The Dream. The song called “My Love.” It’s very catchy… “Tell me what they know about my love…”

This is a very intelligent move for British scientists who invented a robotic fish to detect pollution in the sea. According to Yahoo news, this picture has just released on March 20, 2009 although the picture was taken in October, 2005. This robotic fish will be released into the sea off north Spain. It moves just like real fish, it is equipped with chemical sensors to sniff out potentially hazardous pollutants, such as leaks from vessels or underwater pipelines. The robotic fish in this picture is just a sample. The one that they are going to release into the sea is about 1.5 meters.

 

Recently, I also read the news about a robotic human in a fashion show. I guess in a few years we will see more robotic animals and humans more often. Who knows!

Spring break has ended yesterday. That means spring allergies have begun!! I have been experience spring allergies every year except the first couple years when I moved to Mobile, AL. It could get worse than you can imagine. I sneezed like hundreds times per day. My eyes was red and itchy all the time. I felt exhausted. Sometimes the allergy medicine couldn’t help.

 

Spring allergy affects different part of the US. It depends on many factors, such as location, types of grasses, plants and flowers in that city, and also the nature of geography. I found an interesting article about the top 100 worst allergy cities for spring allergies. If you live in the US, you would rarely or never see a Samsung notebook or netbook. I, too, never see one or heard of it. So, when I read news about Samsung’s new netbooks, I was like… wait a minute…I have no clue that Samsung produces a laptop. Apparently, yes, Samsung does and Samsung has been in the laptop market for years.

 

 

But, why don’t we see any Samsung laptop at Bestbuy, Circuitcity (it has already been shutdown), and other major stores in the US? I’ve just learned that Samsung has been supplying parts and some laptops to other brand names (i.e., Dell), so Samsung has not been allowed to sell any laptop under its name.

 

 

Samsung laptop has been selling in UK, Europe, and Asia. If you want one, you have to buy outside the US. Nevertheless, things start to change. I saw Samsung netbook and notebook sold in NewEgg.com. I also read the news that Samsung is coming to the US. After Samsung released NC10, a 10-inch netbook, last year to the market, it got a very good reviews. It’s become a very strong competitor in netbook market. Samsung’ s also just released a new model NC20, 12-inch netbook in Korea. It looks so nice and also receives good feedback. The news said it would come the the US in March or April with the price tag under $500.

On March 18, an undersea volcano erupted off the coast of Tonga shooting clouds of smoke, steam and ash thousands of feet into the sky above the South Pacific ocean. This is very scary! But, thanks God, the geologists said there was no apparent danger to residents of Nuku’alofa and others living on the main island of Tongatapu.

 

According to the US Geological Survey, a magnitude 7.9 earhtquake has struck in the Pacific Ocean. It struck at 6:17 a.m. (local time). Tsunami warning was issued for Tonga, Fiji, anod other close areas. So far, there were no immediate reports of damange, injuries or death. (Source: WikiNews). Let me add this new single, Love Struck, to the top of my playlist!! I just love this song!! V-factory is a boy band from the US. They just released a new single last month. I have heard this song for a while but didn’t know the name of the song until today. I’m glad that I have XM radio. Ho Ho Ho..

Let’s get to know a little bit about his boy band. Unlike N’Sync, BSB, and other boy bands. V-factory added a touch of R&B and Hip-hop into their songs. That’s what I love!! I think this is very similar to 2PM – Korean boy band. It’s not just  all about pop music anymore. It’s all about mixing tunes and being creative.  I’m sure this single is going to be a HIT and my prediction never goes wrong hahaha.

 

The five members of V-Factory are: Asher, Wesley, Nicky, Jared, and Nathaniel.
