I’ve been searching for some cool Thai fonts. I was looking for some sort of handwriting in Thai font and I found a website, developed by Thai people. This website is f0nt.com (with a zero, not an O). I was so happy to see a lot of thai developers created all kinds of cool looking fonts in Thai and English. There are ton of awesom fonts and you would love them.

These fonts are free  to download and use. You can use in any kind of graphics and prints. Go chec it out!

This news shocked the hell out of me. A thirteen years old boy, Alfie Patten, has just become a father of  a 7lb 3oz baby named Maisie Roxanne. I think I was shocked more than I heard the news about a mom with the octuplet.

Chantelle, a 15 years old girl, is the mom.

The thing is.. Alfie doesn’t look like a typical 13 years old teenager. He looks like he were 7 or 8 years old. Don’t you think? I don’t know if this is a good news or sad news that they both have decided to raise the baby.

Finally, BlackBerry Curve with a new look has just been released. Thinner and cooler – Ofcourse!

• According to BGR website, here are the improved features:

- The size is awesome — totally small enough to be pocketable, but not too small where sacrifices on the keyboard had to be made.

- keys are located perfectly.

- The screen is flawless! It’s denser, crisper, and sharper.

- The keys feel more “fuller” and not hollow like the original 8300 did. They’re also decently spaced.

- It looks like a tougher material or finish.

Are you going to get this new toy?

“Olympic great Michael Phelps acknowledged “regrettable” behavior and “bad judgment” after a photo in a British newspaper Sunday showed him inhaling from a marijuana pipe.”

According to the News of the World, the pictures were taken at a house party at the University of South California that Phelps attended last November because his girlfriend, Jordan Matthews, was there.

It didn’t take much to bring a star down. With his one mistake, he could ruin his future. People don’t even care how much they were proud of him when he won eight gold medals. Michael Phelps was suspended from competition for three months by USA Swimming. Many sponsors have canceled contracts. In the worst case scenario, he would not compete in the 2012 Olympics in London.

Users and Webmasters watch out those worms. They keep attacking all the index.php files.

Now, I don’t have any solution to prevent these worms. This is vey annoying. I have to check my website regularly and replace the new files to the server.

I’m so sorry for any inconvenience.

I’ve been training Enzo a new trick for a few days and now he is getting better. The trick is that when I say “Bang!” , he would lay down on the side and act as if somebody shot him down and he were dying… Ha Ha Ha.. Although it sounds brutal, it was pretty entertaining for me to watch LOL. Enzo does a very good job. It’s just a fun trick. It was hard for me to train him laying down on the side because Enzo can do roll over and he kept doing this roll over trick. However, Enzo made it through. He could lay down on the side and stay for three seconds.

And, for me, the cutest thing  for Enzo to do is to make his own bed when he’s going to sleep. While I’m working on my desk, he will cover his body with his two blankets, poke his head out, and watch me.

For real… he always makes his own bed. Two blankets are not even on top each other at first. Sometimes he even moved the whole seat down and dragged it to somewhere else in the living room.  He’s little crazy, isn’t he?

Flan is a typical spanish style custard dessert. It has caramel sauce on the top. Flan is not eay to make, but with Jell-O technology. You can make it with ten minutes. Flan is so yummy!! It’s pretty easy to make it if you have an instant box hahaha. It turned out very well. With one box, I can make three cups of flan.

เห้อ กำลังเขียน บทที่สอง Dissertation บทที่ว่าหินที่สุด ต้องเขียนต้องอ่าน research studies, theories, books, articles มากมายก่ายกอง แต่ยังดีที่ได้เขียน review ทฤษฏีที่กอล์ฟชื่นชอบ นั่นก็คือ Gestalt Theoy (Gestalt อ่านว่า เก็ส -สะ-ต๊อล) ปัจจุบันได้มีการประยุกต์ ทฤษฏีไปอย่างกว้างขวางหลายสาขาอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Therapy, Music, Problem-solving, etc.

Gestalt เป็นภาษา German หมายถึง การรวม การเห็น pattern อืมม ยังไงดีล่ะ ประมาณว่า Gestalt theory จะเน้นที่ ผลรวมมากกว่ารายละเอียดท่รวมกัน การที่เห็น pattern ของส่งที่เกิดขึ้นมา A whole is greater than the sum of its parts. ตัวอย่างเช่น บางครั้งเรามองที่ผลรวมเราก็จะเข้าใจ ไม่จำเป็นต้องรู้ถึงรายละเอียดทกอย่าง  รูปรถข้างล่างนี้ ถ้าคุณดู รูป แต่ละส่วนของรถ ก็คงจะรู้สึกว่า.. แล้วไง? ก็แค่ส่วนประกอบบางอย่าง แต่พอเอารวมกันเป็นรูปรถ ทำให้คุณเห็นภาพรวม ว่า ส่วนประกอบทุกอย่างพอรวมกันแล้วกลายเป็นรถสปอร์ตคันนึง ภาพนี้สร้าง impact ให็คนที่เห็นภาพนี้

นั่นเป็นเพียงแค่หลักพื้นฐาน ยังมีกฏมากมายที่อธิบายสิ่งที่คนเรามองการทำงานสมองของเราเมื่อเห็นภาพๆนึง กฏพวกนี้เอไปประยุกต์เป็นพื้นฐานการออกแบบของ Graphic Design เพื่อให้เกิดการออกแบบทีถูกต้องและมีประสิทธิภาพ เพื่อไม่ให้คนที่ดูหรือเห็น มีการเข้าใจผิดเกิดขึ้น

กฏ Gestalt ก็ได้แก่

1. Proximity
2. Similarity
3. Closure
4. Figure and Ground

ยังมีกฏอื่นๆอีกหลายอัน

ตัวอย่างที่คนส่วนใหญ่รู้จักเกี่ยวกับ Gestalt ก็คือรูปนี้

มองดูรูปนี้ดีๆ คุณเห็นอะไร เห็นถ้วย หรือ เห็นหน้าสองคนมองเข้าหากัน

คุณคงสงสัยว่า แล้ว กฏ และ ทฤษฏีพวกนี้เอาไปประยุกต์ได้อย่างไร หลักสำคัญก็คือ เวลาคุณออกแบบ graphic ป้ายโฆษณา หรือสิ่งพิมพ์อะไรก็ตาม ควรจะต้องจำหลักพวกนี้ให้ดีๆ ไม่งั้น เวลาคนมองจะตีความหมายออกไปได้หลายอย่าง ซึ่งคงจะไม่ดีแน่ๆ การออกแบบที่ดี ควรมีความชัดเจนในตัว สื่อความหมายในสิ่งที่คุณต้องการจะสื่อ นอกจากนี้ ถ้าคุณออกแบบดีๆ จะทำให้คนที่เห็นหรือดู จำผลงานของคุณไปได้นานเลยทีเดียว
