While searching for a new cooking knife and other cool kitchen gadgets, I found an interesting knife’s name, called Santoku. At first I thought it was a Japanese chef’s name who invented the knife, but with my curiosity I googled it and found more details about it.

Basically, santoku is a Japanese word translated as “three good things” or “three uses.” It’s a reference to the knife’s three cutting tasks such as slicing, dicing, and mince. Another word, santokuo is a general-purpose kitchen knife.

What the differences between regular knife and santoko knife?  Santoko is a modified Western chef’s knife. It’s shorter than most chef’s knives, thinner blade made of harder tempered steel, and thinner edge profile angle. There are some other modifications of the basic santoku originated from Japan. You might see some santoku knifes with some piercings or holes through the blade as well as different patterns of surface though out the body of the blade.

I thought Mc Cafe was available only in the US. I just find out that Mc Cafe is available in Bangkok too.  Some of you might not know that McDonald’s now serve all kinds of coffee – just like Starbucks. In Mobile, Mc Cafe is a coffee corner located inside McDonald’s. But, it seems like Mc Cafe can be by itself just like any other coffee shop.

I love the ice coffee from Mc Cafe. Sometimes, I drove-through McDonald’s in the afternoon just to grab a big cup of Vanilla ice coffee. It’s a lot cheaper than getting it from Starbucks.

I’m helping my mom and dad re-design our new house (in Bangkok) where they are moving to within 2-3 months. Here are scanned pages from catalogs and magazines. I love all the colors and cannot decide which color should be painted for the living room or my bedroom. Hmmm…

I’m really a big fan of this Thai Sitcom – True Love Next Door. I love all the episodes so far. They all were funny and every entertaining. I also do like the soundtrack at the beginning and the end. Though, I have only the ending song – Kon Tee Chai (by Budokan) for you to download.

Can’t wait for the next episode!!

How do you like the website’s new look? I like this template very much. I can do so much customization on the template. Actually, the reason I changed the look because my website has been attacked again. This time, I was be able to indicate or find out what the problem was.

.

I did some research on it. It has been spreading to a lot of website which is constructed by PHP, Blog template, etc. It will attack only “index” file which is the main page. It will embedded some kind of Javascript to redirect the page to 7speed.info or 7addition.info. Don’t go to these websites. Although both of websites have been shutdown, the script embedded into all my index files were still affected.  So, basically, I had to go through the entire server and made sure I re-uploaded all the index files including the blog templates.

Anyhow, if anybody is experiencing the same problem that I had, don’t panic. Just re-upload all your index files. That seems to be easy solution for me rather than go through the HTML code and try to delete crappy Javascript.

Giving away cosmetics through out the nation!! Yessss.. you heard me right!  I’m just curious if anyone went to the department store and get free stuff today?

I should have posted this information earlier.. but… oh well.. I just found it very ridiculous. This probably happened only in the US.!

เวลาเราไปร้านอาหาร sever ก็จะถามเราว่า What would you like to drink? Can I get you something to drink? อะไรประมาณนี้ วันก่อนก็ไปทานข้าวกับเพื่อน ฉลองวันเกิดย้อนหลังให้ กิฟท์ ก็เลยนึกถึง น้ำดื่มยี่ห้อนึง ซึ่งเคยได้อ่านข่าวที่เพื่อนส่งมาให้อ่าน ก็เลยเล่าให้เพื่อนๆฟังว่า ที่สิงค์โปร์เนี่ย เค้ามีน้ำดื่มยี่ห้อนึง ชื่อว่า Anything อ่อ แล้วก็มีอีกยี่ห้อ คือ Whatever.

บ่อยครั้งไปที่เรานึกไม่ออกว่าจะดื่มอะไร พยายามหาตัวช่วย ให้เพื่อนเลือกให้แทน โดยบอกว่า ดื่มอะไรก็ได้ สั่งให้หน่อย อย่างนี้ต้องลองสั่ง Anything หรือไม่ก็ Whatever ดูนะ

น้ำดื่ม Anything จะเป็นพวกน้ำด่มโซดา อย่างเช่น โค๊ก สไปรท์ แต่ถ้าสั่ง Whatever ก็จะเป็นน้ำดื่มเช่น น้ำมะนาว ชามะนาว อะไรพวกนี้แทน น่าสนใจดีเนอะ

เดี๋ยวจะหาว่าโม้ เรามาดุโฆษณา ที่สิงคโปร์กันดีกว่า ได้ข่าวว่า เค้าเอาโฆษณาของคนไทยไปทำใหม่ ใช้ผู้กำกับไทย นักแสดงไทย
