Chrysanthemum Icosahedron Kusudama

I had to cheat this time by using scotch tape to hold all the pieces together. It was too hard to finish it without using tools. I love the outcome with three colors but the same pattern.

Suvarnabhumi Airport

Not much to say about the international Suvarnabhumi airport being shut down.

Sexiest Woman in The World

by

This “Sexiest Woman in The World” title was named by E! Entertainment and given to Karolina Kurkova. Unsurprisingly, she is one the Victorial Secret’s angels.

This picture was snapped at the Victoria’s Secret runway show at Holloywood.

Obama Uses Mac

by

According to POTUS, pictures of Obama with Apple Mac Powerbook are displayed. He has a sticker of Pacman in front of the Apple logo. It looks like Pacman is about to eat the Apple!! That’s so awesome!

Amigurumi

by

Amigurumi is “the Japanese art of crocheting small animals or toys.  The dolls are done in single crochet in the round.  The rounds are never joined, instead being worked in a spiral.  Amigurumi are made up of parts that are crocheted, stuffed, and sewn together.  The parts are usually an over-sized round head, a cylindrical body, arms and legs, ears, tail (if needed) and embellishments.  Sometimes, felt is used to create the ears, face, or nose.  Felt can also make some pretty cute embellishments.” – squidoo

I’m always amazed by the Japanese arts. Like amigurumi, those crocehting small animals are so adorable! You can make key chains, bags, shoes, and many more with the same techniques. This have been a famous hobby for a while. You can see a ton of pictures of amigurumi from Amigurumi group at Flickr

If you are interested, they are many books and free patterns available online.  Amigurumi dolls look tiny and simple, but I personally think you have to have some skills.. haha

Golffy on Ovi

by

Yeahh… eventually I have purchased a new cell phone. My new toy is Nokia N85. I totally love it! I can snap a photo and upload to the Internet to share with anyone right away. Plus, these services are free and managed by Nokia.

Nokia offers a website, called Ovi, where you can upload pictures, video clips, contact information, to-do lists, and calendar. You can also snychornize it with your cell-phone too.

Ovi is also compatible with Flickr. I don’t think you have to have Nokia in order to sign up as a memeber. So, if your cell phone can go online or have the Internet access, you definitely should try Ovi.

My Mighty Princess

by

If you are a fan of “My Sassy Girl”, a Korean movie, you probably will love this movie. Although I never watch My Sassy Girl, I just find out that these two movies have the same director.

She look like Pucca (funny chinese cartoon character)

My Mighty Princess is a romantic/action/comedy. The story line is subtle enough to keep you interested. I love the special effects. I’m very impressive that actors and actresses are flying in the air without any stunts (for th most part). It becomes one of my favorite Korean movie ever!

This movie is about a girl, SohWi, who is inherit all the special martial art skills from her dad and mom. She’s inevitable! However, she wants to be just a normal girl. Can she pretend like she has no power? You have to watch!! SohWi (pronouce “So – Wee”…. what a cute name!

here is the trailer:
