I would say azalea plants are pretty much local/native plants in Mobile, AL. Every house has to have azalea plants. It looks very similar to one of Thai flower, called “Cha-ba”. They are flowering as shrubs.

My house has the shocking pink color azalea flowers which start to bloom for the second time in this year (the first time they bloomed in early spring when I just moved in to the house). I have about four of them planted on the side of house.

Based on Wiki website, several commercial nurseries in Mobile, AL, are major national suppliers of azaleas in the U.S.

This is just the beginning….

My house is right at the “Tilmans Corner.”, on I-10. It wasn’t that bad YET…

The Hurricance Gustav is moving toward New Orleans. Hopefully, it will not affect my area as much as I thought at first.

This is a breaking news about a photo showing that a shark was jumping behind surfers. The photo was taken by Kem McNair.

The answer is YESSS… It’s RIGID!

The photographer snapped this picture at New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The expert said this type of shark has been known to jump and spin in the air, so this photo is likely a real one. CNN reporter even interviewed the witness and photographer, Kem McNair, to confirm the story.

It’s has been EXACT three years after Katrina slammed New Orleans three years ago. Gustav might repeat the history. Gustav’s just struck Cayman island. Forecasters said Gustav could speed up to Category-3!! It’s coming to Gulf Coasts!!! Expected to landfall on Tuesday… New Orleans??? Any where but Mobile, PLEASE….

Not that Hanna Montana, Miley Cyrus, but it’s another Hurricane coming right after Hurricane Gustav (now developed to Category 2). This Hurricane Hanna is already strengthening to Category 1. It happens so fast! I didn’t even see Hanna yesterday.

Right now we don’t know where Hanna is heading to….

อ๊ะๆ เมนูเด็ดอาทิตย์นี้ของร้าน Goffee Shop คือ บะหมี่เกี๊ยวทะเลหมูแดง น่ากินสุดๆ เมื่อประมาณอาทิตย์กว่าๆ พี่อ้อโทรมาถามว่าปรุงรสก๋วยเตี๋ยวต้มยำสูตร Goffee shop นี่ทำอย่างไร เพราะเขาปรุงแล้วไม่ได้รสเข้มข้นแบบที่เคยกิน กอล์ฟก็เลยว่าจะมาสาธิตการทำบะหมี่แบบคร่าวๆเอาไว้ที่นี่ มันก็ไม่ได้ยากอะไร ปรุงตามรสเรามากกว่า เผอิญชอบกินแบบน้ำคลุกคลิกรสหวานๆเปรียวๆหน่อย และที่ขาดไม่ได้คือ น้ำพริกเผา ใช่แล้วต้องใส่ด้วยถึงจะเด็ด ปกติก็จะทำแค่บะหมี่ กับ เกี๊ยว แต่คราวนี้ครบเครื่องกันหน่อย มีการใส่เนื้อปู และหมูแดงด้วย ขอบอก หมูแดงนี่อบเองเลยนะคร้าบ! เกี๊ยวก็ห่อเองนะ แต่ บะหมี่ ไม่ได้นวดเอง ฮาาาาา…..

วิธีทำ เกี๊ยวกุ้ง

ส่วนผสม:

1. เนื้อหมูสับ หรือ เนื้อไก่สับ (Walmart มีไม่ต้องสับเอง)  1/3 ส่วน หรือ ครึ่ง แพ๊ค
2.  เนื้อกุ้งสับ อันนี้ต้องมาสับเอง เอาละเอียดซักส่วนนึง อีกส่วนนึงไม่ต้องเยอะนะ สับแบบหยาบหน่อย ปริมาณกุ้งเมื่อสับแล้ว ควรจะมีเนื้อกุ้งมากกว่า เนื้อหมู หรือเนื้อไก่ จะได้อร่อยๆ :lol:
3. ต้นหอมเล็กน้อย สองสามต้นก็พอ หั่นละเอียด
4. น้ำมันงา ซัก 1 ช้อนโต๊ะ
5. น้ำตาลทราย  1 ช้อนชา พูนหน่อย ถ้าชอบรสหวานหน่อย
6. ซีอิ๊วขาว กระทุ้งเข้าไปซัก สามสี่ เหยาะ
7. น้ำมันหอย ใส่ซํกสองเหยาะ
8. ซอสภูเขาทอง ใส่ซักสองเหยาะ
9. เกลือ ใส่ซัก ครึ่งช้อชา
10. น้ำเย็น ครึ่งถ้วย
11. พริกไทขาวป่น ใส่ตามใจชอบ
12. ไข่ไก่  แยกไข่ขาว และ ไข่แดง ออกจากกัน ไข่แดงไว้ห่อแป้งเกี๊ยว ไข่ขาวไว้หมักไส้เกี๊ยว

วิธีหมัก

1. ใส่รวมกัให้หมดเลย ยกเว้นไข่แดงนะ
2. จะต้องคนไปคนมา จนมันเหนียวแล้วหนืด ยิ่งเหนียวยิ่งดี เวลาสุกมันจะเนื้อแน่นนุ่มอร่อย
3. เมื่อส่วนผสมทุกอย่างเข้าที แนะนำให้ ตักใส่ชาม ซักก้อนเล็กๆหนึ่งก่อน แล้วเข้า Microwave High Level ซัก 1-2 นาที แล้วชิมรส เอา
4. อยากได้อะไรเพิ่มก็ใส่ได้เลย แต่อย่าให้รสจัดมากเพราะว่า ถ้าหมักค้างไว้ รสชาดจะเข้มข้นขึ้น
5. หมักทิ้งไว้ ครึ่งชม. หรือจะข้ามวันก็ได้แล้วแต่สะดวก 
6. จะกิน แล้วค่อยห่อ หรือจะห่อ แล้วแช่ช่องแข็ง ก็ได้ แต่ไม่แนะนำให้แช่ตู้เย็นช่องธรรมดา เพราะแป้งจะแฉะ

วิธีทำหมุแดง แบบเร็วๆ

1. ใช้ผงหมูแดงไง ฮ่าๆ
2. แต่อย่าไปทำตามวิธีหลังซองเลย เสียเวลา เอาผงหมูแดงละลายน้ำแล้วเอาไปต้มกับหมูเลย
3. ต้มซักพักจนหมูเริ่มแดงขึ้นหน่อย ให้พอกึ่งสุกึ่งดิบ จากนั้น ก็อุ่นเตาอบไว้เลยพร้อมๆกับตอนต้มก็ได้
4. ต้มซัก7-10 นาที ไฟแรงปานกลาง
5. เอาเข้าเตาอบ 400 F ซัก 10 นาที คอยกลับด้าน อย่าให้ไหม้ จะเห็นว่าสีเริ่มแดงขึ้นเรื่อยๆ
6. พอเห็นว่าหมูเริ่มสุก เริ่มแดงได้ที่ ก็เปลี่ยนจาก Bake เป็น Broil ซะ ให้รอด้านละ 3-5 นาที คอบพลิกด้านอย่าให้ไหม้
7. พอขอบๆเริ่มไหม้ ก็ใช้ได้ละ ปิดเตา เอาออกมาหั่น

กว่าจะได้กิน บะหมี่หมูแดง ก็เหนื่อยเหมือนกันนะ อ้อ ส่วนน้ำซุบ นี่ก็ แล้วแต่คนจะชอบ กอล์ฟก็ง่ายๆ เอาน้ำต้มกระดูกไก่ หรือหมู ต้มกับ หัวผักกาดขาว ปรุงรส ด้วย เม็ดพริกไทยขาว ซีอิ๊วขาว น้ำปลา และ น้ำตาล นิดหน่อย ปรุงให้รสกลางๆ

    

วิธีปรุงน้ำต้มยำ

1. ตั้งฉ่าย ใส่ไปเลยหยิบมือนึง เล็กน้อย
2. น้ำตาล หนึ่งช้อนโต๊ะ ไปเลย อาจจะดูเยอะ แต่รับรองรสจัดซะใจ
3. มะนาว บีบไปเลย ซีก สองซีก แล้วแต่ชอบ
4. น้ำปลา หนี่งช้อนโต๊ะ เช่นกัน
5. น้ำพริกเผา หนึ่งช้อนโต๊ะ
6. ใส่น้ำซุบนิดหน่อย ให้มันละลายให้เข้ากัน จากนั้นชิม รสต้องจัดหน่อย เพราะเราจะต้องใส่น้ำเพิ่ม หรือจะค่อยมาปรุงเพิ่มตอนเสร็จก็ได้ แต่ที่ต้องใส่น้ำซุบก่อนเพราะว่า น้ำพริกเผาและน้ำตาลจะได้ละลายก่อน เวลาใส่บะหมี่ กับเกี๊ยวลงไป จะได้คนง่ายๆหน่อย

แค่นี้ล่ะ ก็อร่อยได้แล้ว ต้องกินกันหลายคน หลายมื้อหน่อย ถึงจคุ้มเวลาทำนะเนี่ย Enjoy Eating ทุกท่าน ติชมกันได้นะ หรือจะกลับมาเล่าสู่กันฟังก็ได้ว่า ผลออกมาเป็นอย่างรกันบ้าง

GUSTAV has been declared as a Hurricane!!. For SURE… GUSTAV is coming to the Gulf of Mexico!! Hmmmm, please please please keep going WEST!! The projected path looks no good for Mobile at all. High wind and lot of rain can be definitely expected in the next few days. 5-days prediction and warning have been announced. The landfall will be expected on Monday at 8AM. I’m in the danger zone!! OMG!! We will not know where the GUSTAV will be landed. In my opinion, with statistical records, it SHOULD land to New Orleans on the Labor day (September 1st)! Please don’t even come close to Biloxi… moving toward Texas would be nice!

I guess this is the third time that the Bunny paid a visit and flirted with Enzo. She’s a sexy girl next door — just like the reality show, “Girls Next Door “, on the E! channel… ha ha ha

She was in my neighbor’s backyard (right next to my backyard) and having a dinner meal. She normally came in the evening. This time she was very friendly and flirty to us. She even push her face through our fence and blew a few KISSES…. Muah! Muah! HA HA HA!

Enzo and I didn’t scare her off a bit. Of course, we had to give her some tips (cabbage) so that she would danced (hopped) around and do a nice show for us. She hopped around and came to my front porch too as if she were on the front stage show or something. How neat was that!!

What do you think about Enzo’s new friend, Bunny Girl? Or, Do you like Ninja Turtle better?

Do you know why “Bunny” has been chosed to be Playboy’s mascot/icon? The answer is… bunnies represent flirty, and playful — just like the way she blew kisses to Enzo and I. I’m also used to heard that bunnies have sex a lot!! That might be another reason for being playboy’s mascot too!

However, for Thai people, a bunny represents someone who is easily get excited – reacting to something  or a situation when not thinking thoroughly (umm NO…not easily get excited because getting aroused in the sexual way!!).
