บางคนอาจจะได้ยินข่าวนี้มาบ้างแล้ว ถูกต้องใช่เลย iPhone 2.0 จะออกตัวเมื่อวันที่ 11 กรกฏาคมอย่างเป็นทางการ พร้อมเปลี่ยนราคาลงต่ำยิ่งกว่าครึ่งจากราคาเดิม แหมพอได้ยินอย่างนี้น้ำลายก็ไหลกันเป็นแถวเลยเนอะ ราคาเริ่มต้นที่ 199 เหรียญนะครับ เป็นเงินไทย ก็ไม่ถึงหมื่นเลยนะ

กอล์ฟก็จะพูดถึงจุดเด่นๆ ตามที่ได้อ่านข่าวมานะครับ ก็จะเพิ่ม GPS มีความเร็วๆกว่าเดิมในการเล่นเน็ต เพราะใช้ 3G ถ้าแบบ 16GB ก็จะมีสีขาวและดำ อ้อ แล้วก็รองรับระบบ Push-mail สนับสนุน Microsoft Exchange (เหมือนที่ Blackberry ทำได้)

ก็ถือว่าไม่เลวเลยนะครับ สำหรับราคาใหม่นี้ แต่ว่า…. จะต้องเซ็นสัญญา 2 ปี กับ AT&T (ที่อเมริกา) แต่ว่าไม่ต้องตกใจ เพราะเที่ยวนี้ iPhone จะทำการขายทั่วโลก มากถึง 66 ประเทศ แต่เป็นที่น่าเสียดายที่ไม่มีประเทศไทยนะครับ ใกล้สุดคงจะเป็น Hong Kong ครับป๋ม

ทำไม apple ถึงกล้าขายถูกนั่นเหรอ เพราะว่า Apple ก่ะว่าจะให้คนซื้อทำสัญญาระยะยาวอย่างน้อยสองปี ค่าบริการ เดือนๆนึงก็ล่อไป 40-100 แล้วแต่ แพ๊คเก็จ ยังไง พวกเขาก็กำไรคุ้มกันอยู่แล้ว แต่ถ้าจะหวังซื้อเครื่องเปล่าโดยไม่ทำสัญญา อันนี้ผมก็ไม่แน่ใจว่าจะทำได้เหมือนรุ่นแรกหรือป่าว ยังไงก็คงต้องติดตามกันต่อไปนะครับ

I have been packing lunch to work for couple weeks now. I’m trying to control the portion of the meal. Often, when I go out to the restaurant, I would eat more than I need to. That’s not helpful at all when I’m watching my weight. The first week of lunch prepartion was OK. During the second week, I feel like this is getting bored. I’m sick of my lunch. I need to do something! Then, the word “Bento” came to my mind. That’s right! Bento would make my lunch more interesting. I not only love to eat, but also love to cook. I want to be creative in food preparation and presentation. So, I thought doing Bento might be fun.

Have you ever heard about Bento? You probably have seen this word in some Japanese restaurant’s menu. Food will come in a nice plastic lacquerware box with different compartnents inside. You will get all kind of side dishes, such as shrimp tempura, pickled vegetables, fried fish, etc.

By definition, Bento is a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese crusine. It’s common for Japanese to spend considerable time and energy to produce an appealing boxed lunch for loving ones.

I have some pictures below (from Flickr). When Japanese people want to do something appealing, they really make it happen. They are very creative and have all kinds of cool gadgets to make Bento.

I’ve just finished watching a Korean drama series, Witch Yoo Hee or Witch Amusement. The series have total of 16 episodes. The title might mislead you. This series has nothing to with any magic or witches.  Because of the main actress’s bitchy mood, icy heart, and demanding aggression, people would call her a witch.

Ma Yoo Hee, the witch, is always about pefection and success, but she is likely fail to have a real relationship with a man. She has tried to go out as a blind date so many times, but most guys deny to ask her out on the second date. Until she meet a Moo Ryong (not sure I write his name corrrectly ), things have started to change. Moo Ryong is a very romantic, creative, hard-working, sincere, and gentleman type of guy. He loves cooking especially French food. However, he get fired from every restaurant where he works. He is an out-spoken when it came to food critics. That’s why chefs and people in the kitchen are hate him. Plus, he is too talented and well-trained since he was young. His abilities and cooking skills are far beyond those chefs whom he works with. He dreams to get trained by or to work with Johny Koger, a celebrity chef from New York. One day his dream comes true. He has an opportunity to work with Johny and starts to learn french cooking enthuastically.

 

I love this series because it was fun to watch Yoo Hee’s progression to become more lady-like and romantic kind of person. Aslo, I had fun to watch Moo Ryong  being a coach to teach Yoo Hee how to show affection to a man and people around her, how to cook, how to act on a date, and how to be stylish with the new sense of fashion. I love her transformation!

Not only that, each main character has his and her mystrious background that will keep you puzzle and curious. Later, the story tied things together. Yoo Hee got caught amongst three men: Moo Ryong, longtime friend Johnny, and first love Joon Ha. Which one of these suitors will melt Yoo Hee’s icy heart? You need to find out!

Now this Korean drama has been on air in Thailand after successfully airing the Coffee Prince, which I love this Koren drama series too.

Sony ได้ก้าวพัฒนาไปอีกขึ้นหนึ่ง โดยการเป็นผู้นำเทคโนโลยีด้านพลังงานซึ่ง โซนี่ได้ทำการออกแบบตัวอย่างกล้องถ่ายรูปที่สามารถชาร์ตพลังงานโดยการกลิ้งบนพื้นผิวเรียบ กลิ้งไปกลิ้งมา แล้วก็ถ่าย ไม่ต้องห่วงว่า แบตเตอร์รี่จะหมด ถือว่าฉลาดมากๆที่สามารถคิดค้นไอเดียนี้ขึ้นมาได้

นอกจากกล้องถ่ายรูปแบบกลิ้งแล้ว โซนี ยังอยู่ในระหว่างการพัฒนา กล้องถ่ายรูปจากพลังงานการเคลื่อนไหวด้านอื่นๆ เช่นเอานิ้วเสียบเข้าไปในรูปแล้วควงกล้องถ่ายรูปเป็นต้น ยังมีกล้องวีดีโอ และอุปกรณ์อื่นๆ ที่สามารถใช้พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ได้อีกด้วย ลองฟังข่าวใน YouTube เองละกันนะครับ

กอล์ฟเห็นว่าน่าสนใจดีเลยเอามาให้ดุเล่นกัน ช่วงนี้เราควรรณรงค์ใช้สิ่งของที่รักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมกันนะครับ ฝรั่งก็จะใช้คำว่า Green นั่นเอง บ้านสมัยใหม่ นอกจากจะสวยแล้วทันสมัยแล้ว ควรจะต้องออกแบบบ้านที่รักษาพลังงาน ประหยัดพลังงานแล้วก็ไม่ใช้วัสดุก่อสร้างที่ทำลายสิ่งแวดล้อมให้แย่ไปกว่าเดิม  หรือใช้วัสดุที่ Recycle ได้ ตอนนี้ที่อเมริกากำลังนิม พรมที่สามารถ Recycle ได้ ทำออกมาเป็นแผ่นๆ เหมือน Tile ถ้าแผ่นไหนเลอะหรือต้องการเปลี่ยน ก็หยิบชิ้นนั้นส่งไป Recycle แล้วก็เอาแผ่นใหม่มาใส่แทน

ถึงกระนั้นก็ตาม การใช้วัสดุ Green หรือ Recycle พวกนี้ มันไม่ได้ราคาถูกๆเลยนะเนี่ย กอล์ฟก็เลยคิดว่า ที่ควรส่วนใหญ่ไม่ได้ให้ความสำคัญตรงนี้ ไม่ใช่เพราะว่าเขาไม่อยากให้ แต่เป็นเพราะว่า ค่าเริ่มต้นในการก่อสร้าง ค่าสินค้าวัสดุ recycle พวกนี้ มีราคาสูงว่า สินค้าราคาปกติถึง 30%-50%  ก็มีแต่คนรวยเงินเหลือใช้ล่ะครับที่มีปัญญา Go Green! ก็ภาวนาว่าสินค้าพวกนี้จะมีราคาถูกลง มีสินค้าที่รองรับไอเดีย Green พวกนี้เยอะๆ แต่ก็ไม่รู้นะอีกกี่ปี ต้องยอมรับว่า Sony ฉลาดได้มองเห็นจุดสำคัญตรงนี้ อีกหน่อยคงได้เห็นสินค้าแบบนี้จาก Sony อีกหลายชิ้นเลยทีเดียว

I’ve been collecting cacti for a couple months now. I’m very happy with them. They are low maintenance and producing beautiful flowers. Some of my friends don’t believe that a cactus can produce a flower.

In the past, Thai people had little to none knowledge about the cactus. We have seen only a few species of cactus. We always think that cacti are ugly and so not interesting. The common characteristics of cactus which most Thai people have in their mind are living in dessert, standing tall with a lot of spikes, ugly looking, representing the droughtiness and uncivilization, etc. Those are misconception. Theere are like millions of scpecies with different looks.

I found cacti very interesting. it’s fun to watch them flower. Those flowers have scents too! And, now some of them are blooming!

 

Sex and The City came back strong with #1 spot in the US Box Office. After 4 years of wait for Carrey, Samantha, Charlott, and Miranda, I have to say… it’s worth the wait. The writers did a superb job! that’s all I can say. You have to go watch it – especially if you love Sex and the City. Some might claim that they never watch the show and might be afraid that they will not get what this movie is about. It doesn’t matter. The movie provided you with enough background, and you would Get Carried Away……

Jessica Sarah Parker’s never been this beautiful before! She with the wedding gownS will take your breath away (I didn’t imply whether she would get married or not.. I’m just saying..You need to go to see the movie and find out what happens). She’s gorgeous! Although this movie seems like it is for women, in my opinion it’s deeper than that. I looked at how the writers pulled things around you, tied them up, and made a story out of it. The writers brought the story with lots of senses of humors through fashion, friendship, relationship, love, and commitment. The writers are also smart enough to keep the essences of the original series on HBO and nicely integrate them into the movie. This movie is not just about a bunch of old ladies and merely sex like others are thinking!!!

Ohhhh.. I love the soundtrack in which incorporates the original theme melody.

Fergie sings this song called “Labels of Love” — it’s not only a soundtrack title, but also is the main idea of the movie.
