= GOLFFY =

This morning Enzo wandered around the yard and he stopped at the storage. He kept barking and barking… I thought he found a snake or something. So, I carefully walked over there. It’s a turtle! He’s stunning - very cool looking, don’t you think? He acted like he wasn’t scared by Enzo a bit. I was still sleepy, so I brought Enzo inside and went back to sleep.

I completely forgot about him until I watered the plants and yard in the evening. He suddenly appeared again.. just like a ninja. He was walking toward me. I might disturb him somehow from watering the plants. I was like.. oooh I needed to feed him or something. I went back inside and got him a cabbage. It seemed like he was scared by me.. HaHaHa. He didnt’ take it, but he was still walking around nearby the fence. Instead, I took a few pictures of him because I thought he looked so cool and I would like to share those pictures on the blog.

NOTE: May be it’s not a turtle because the way he looks…I dont’ know.. hahaha

หนังเรื่องใหม่ของ Walz Disney ที่จะเข้าฉาย Fall นี้ September 26 แต่ก็เริ่มเห็น Trailer บ้างแล้วตามโรงหนัง แบบว่า โฆษณากันล่วงหน้า หลายเดือนอยู่เหมือนกัน เรื่องนี้สำหรับคนชอบ Chihuahua โดยเฉพาะเลยนะเนี่ย จะพา Enzo ไปดู แต่ก็เกรงว่า จะกระโดดเข้าจอไปเต้นระบบกับเพื่อนๆ ฮ่าๆ

จะว่าไปแล้ว ตอนแรกกอล์ฟก็ไม่ชอบชิวาว่าเท่าไหร่ เพราะรู้สึกว่า ปากเปราะเหลือเกิน แล้วเสียงก็น่ารำคาญ แต่พอได้มาเลี้ยง ได้ศึกษาประวัติของเขา นิสัยของเขา ก็รู้สึกว่า การเลี้ยง ชิวาว่า ก้ไม่ได้เลวร้ายอย่างที่คิด

คุณรู้ไหมว่า Chihuahua เป็นชื่อของ รัฐๆนึงใน Mexico ซึ่งอยู่ทางตอนเหนือ ชิวาว่ามีสอบพันธุ์ คือแบบขนสั้นกับขนยาว ไม่มีความแตกต่างนอกจากความยาวของขนนั่นเอง ตามประวิตศาตร์ที่เคยอ่าน ชิวาว่าต้นกำเนิด มีมาน๊านนนาน ย้อนกลับไปได้จนถึงยุค Pyraid ก็ว่าได้ เพราะมีรูปเจ้าตัวน้อย Chihuahua ปรากฏอยู่ตามผนัง มีคนยกให้เป็นสัญลักษณ์บางอย่างตามความเชื่อของศาสนาในยุคนั้น แต่ลักษณะของ ชิวาว่า สมัยนี้กับสมัยนั้นก็คล้ายๆ กันแต่ก็ไม่เหมือนกันซะทีเดียว ว่ากันว่า Modern ชิวาว่า ได้มีการกลายพันธุ์ ทำให้ตัวเล็กลง แต่ก็ยังความความน่ารัก ตาโปนหูใหญ่ๆไว้เหมือนเดิม ฮ่าๆ

ลักษณะนิสัยที่ กอล์ฟสังเกตได้ (อันนี้จากประสบการณ์ที่เลี้ยงอยู่มา 6 เดือนนะครับ) คือ

1. ชอบเหลือเกินกับการที่ได้มุดเข้าใต้ผ้าห่ม หรือเอาอะไรคลุมหัว
2. เห็นเบาะรองก้น หรือ หมอนอิงเป็นไม่ได้ จะต้องขึ้นไปนั่งๆนอนๆ
3. ถ้าเห็นแดดแรงๆละก็ จะต้องขอออกไปนอนอาบแดด ซัก 10-20 นาที
4. ชอบคิดว่าตัวเองเป็นหมาใหญ่ เห็นหมาตัวอื่นแล้วชอบกระโดดใส่ แบบ Cholo นักเลง mexican โดยไม่เจียบตัวว่า ตัวเองเล็กกว่าศัตรู ประมาณ 10 เท่า ประมาณว่า ตัวเล็กใจใหญ่ ว่างั้นเหอะ
5. เกลียดสัตว์ประเภทอื่นทุกชนิด เห็นเป็นไม่ได้ เห่าแหลก เปิดดู
6. ชอบนั่งดูทีวี เพราะว่านึกเป็นของจริง เห็นหมาในทีวีก็เห่า เห็นสัตว์ชนิดอื่นในทีวีก็เห่า เลยไม่แน่ใจว่า มันโง่ หรือฉลาดเนี่ย
7. ตรงเวลาน่าดู ถึงเวลานอนปุ๊บ มันก็จะเข้าไปเตียงนอน แล้วก็นอนไม่สนใจใคร ถึงเวลาตื่นก็ปลุกเรา ตรงเวลาอย่างกับนาฬิกาปลุก
8. ชอบทำเสียงแปลกๆ ทำเสียงแมว เสียงนก เสียงโลมา แกทำได้หมด ชอบเลียนเสียง ไม่รุ้ว่าอยากเป็นหมา หรือ Parrot
9. ติดของเล่น จะต้องเล่นของเล่นตลอดเลย วันนึงเล่นของเล่นประมาณ 10 ชนิด เปลี่ยนไปเปลี่ยนมา แต่ก็จะมีตัวโปรดอยู่ ตัวสองตัวที่เล่น ทุกวัน
10. ความจำดี สอนครั้งสองครั้งก็จำได้ แล้วก็จำได้นานด้วย แต่จะทำตามที่สอนไหมนั่น แล้วแต่อารมณ์แล้วก็ของสิ่งตอบแทน ฮ่าๆ

ใครมีอะไรน่ารักๆ เกี่ยวกับนิสัยของ ชิวาว่า ก็มาเล่าสู่กันฟังได้นะครับ

This past memorial weekend I had a chance to attend one of my best friend’s wedding at Foley, AL. Everything looked so neat and was arranged perfectly. My friend, Katherine, looked very beautiful. I was helping her shoot video during the ceremony. Everything went well (I hope…I didn’t even look at those video footages yet ha!)

Everybody dressed up nicely. I noticed that most of the guests chose to wear black. This was weird….it did strike me in an odd way…uhhh wow… I was thinking in my mind if I were attending to the wrong ceremony????

Why did I think like that?…It might be because I came from different culture and tradition -l am from Thailand. I had to think (and pretty sure) that most Asian countries probably have the same perception of how wedding themes should look like. I have to tell you that Black is a “NO! NO!” to wear to the wedding. In Thailand, we would wear bright colors because wedding day is a happy and joyful ceremony. We believe colors represents live and black represent death. So, we would wear black to attend to a funeral ceremony. If you wear black to attend to any wedding ceremony in Thailand, they probably think you are disrespectful and try to crash the wedding. They would immediately escort you escorted to the street. Even if you are wearing dark colors, they probably would think you are idiotic and disrespectful too.

I know that in American wedding way colors, black or white clothes mean nothing, but it’s just me coming from different culture. I just could help but thinking that why those people were so crazy and disrespectful to my friend! Ha Ha Ha…

Anyway… Congratulations to Katherine!!

Great news…Nintendo finally released a new Wii game gadget called Wii Fit. You can use it to do exercising and training. No more excuses not to go to the gym! You can work out at home with Wii Fit.

Of course, I want to be fit too so I bought one… :mrgreen: 

There are several of them at the local Walmart selling for $89.74. It’s bigger and heavier than I thought. I haven’t unbox it yet. Here are some shots from outside.

What a shock season finale for the American Idol!! I still cannot believe that David Cook won the title.

Oh well.. for sure..this is just a beginning of the singing career for our David Archuleta. Congratulations to both Davids. It was fun to watch this season and this is the only season that I have been watching every week since the beginning.

Keep singing D.A.!

I’ve seen the trailers of Kung fu Panda animation movie a few times and I love it.

I love panda and I can’t help thinking about those pandas in China. This morning I saw the follow-up news about rescuing pandas from the earthquake aftermath in Sichuan. There are still missing three adult pandas from panda breeding center :-(. A few workers got killed. It took them for days in order to transport 60 something pandas to the safer place. They looked so hungry and exhuasted. Poor pandas!! I just hope things will get better for them soon.

However, Ricky from the original Office UK revealed that his version came from the Office Japanese version. Very funny!

I just can’t wait to watch the American Idol tonight. It brings down to two contestants Davids. We have David Archuleta and David Cook. Who’s going to be the next American Idol 2008? We’ll see!

Actually, I’m not quite a fan of American Idol at all. I’m used to watch the show on the last two weeks episode or the finale.
